Dennis started at Harris Publications in 1980, launching his first magazine, Guitar World, still the industry leader. Continuing at Harris for over 30 years, Dennis focused on making magazines for young men who shared his own personal interests. In 1997, he launched XXL, which ultimately became the No. 1 hip-hop magazine in the world. As SLAM and XXL combined to form an urban powerhouse in the late ’90s, Page launched KING and RIDES magazines, which also became the top titles in their respective fields of urban men’s lifestyle and automotive culture. As the internet began to change the game, Page and his titles changed, too, making the transition from print only to print and digital platforms, where they continued to lead their respective categories. When XXL was sold in November, 2014, it was time for Page’s next media challenge, and FlyQ Media was born.
